Vincent C. Bricko

Vincent C. Bricko, 64, Wausau, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at UW Hospital, Madison. He was born May 26, 1945 in Wausau, son of the late Chester and Jennie (Berglund) Bricko. Vincent worked as General Manager for Lake Wausau Granite Company for over 30 years. He was past president of the Jaycees, was on the Board of directors for WASA, umpire for WASA, enjoyed coaching and playing softball, coaching little league, was active as a Boy Scout leader and was an avid outdoorsman. Vincent was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to all. He will be remembered for his smile. Survivors include two daughters, Bobbi (Gary) Gadke, Wausau, "Miss" Heidi (Erin) Polo, Mosinee, one son, Vincent H. Bricko, Wausau, special friend, Renee Marten, Schofield, five grandchildren, Ashley Bricko, Mosinee, Lance Bricko, Schofield, Jonathon Gadke, Wausau, Destinee Bricko, Sterling, VA, Jennifer Gadke, Wausau, four siblings, Duane (Patty) Bricko, Cathy Timm, Annette (Carroll) Klabunde, Lyle (Barb) Bricko and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings and Sandy Bricko. The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2009 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau where at 4:30 p.m. a prayer vigil will be held.
