Robert Gorski

Robert Gorski, 82, Kenosha, died Weds. June 27, 2012 at the Claridge House, Kenosha. He was born May 8, 1930, in Bevent, son of the late Alex and Esther (Kostka) Gorski. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy on December 29, 1999. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kenosha. Prior to his retirement in 1983, he had been employed at American Motors Corporation. Among his favorite things to do were boating, fishing and playing cards. He was an excellent person and appreciated the time spent with his family. Survivors include two step-sons, including Kevin (Margaret) Krienke, Kenosha, one step-daughter, two sisters, Joyce Bednarski, Rothschild, Lorraine Frank, Wausau, one brother, James Gorski, Tucson, Ariz., nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Doran. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 3, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter, where full military honors will be conducted by members of the American Legion, Montgomery Plant Post No. 10, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
