Piper Dillon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Piper Dayshia Dillon.

Piper Dayshia Dillon, 21, of Marathon City, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, April 7th 2024 with her mother by her side.

She was born on April 29th, 2002 in Eugene, Oregon the beloved daughter of Kelly Dillon, of Placida, Florida and Tisha Sleiter of Marathon City, Wisconsin.

Piper was known to be a little gal of few words, but spoke loudly with her tenacious personality, her contagious giggles, her larger-than-life smile, and her ability to cast a glare that shot laser beams at people when she did not get what she wanted.

She was a lover of Disney and shared her passion for watching “Finding Nemo” often several times a day with her family and caregivers.  We had always found it ironic that her favorite movie was about a fish with a disability, a parent who was overprotective and a friend who has issues with her short-term memory (way too many correlations there).

Piper loved to go on car rides into town to “BIGGBY” for her daily coffee fix, well it was actually Chai-Tea (but let’s just keep that between us). She had a deep love for her family, snuggling, and snacks.. yes any kind of snacks!

To know her was but to love her…She touched the lives of so many; our beloved shining smiley happy girl, your giggles and thunderous clapping leave us smiling through our tears with heavy hearts.

Piper leaves behind her mother Tisha and Step-Dad Nate, father Kelly, siblings:  Odessa, Eowyn, Markus, Enoch, Lukus, Viola, and Syver.

Also surviving are her Great-Grandparents: James, Waunita, and Roberta. Grandparents: Belinda, James, Del, Michelle, Dale and Patricia. Aunties and Uncles: Mathew, Kendra, Mathew, Tanya, Nicole, Mike, Janet, John, Dawn Marie, Chad, Selina, Heide, and Camilie. Also including numerous cousins and second cousins.

She is predeceased in death by her brother Chandler, Great-Aunt Chris, Grandfather Ned, and Great-Grandfather Wayne.

A private funeral service will be held in Oregon at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the (EPILEPSY FOUNDATION)www.give.epilepsy.com or to (Autism Speaks)www.autismspeaks.org
