Michael Kipp
56, Wausau, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at North Central Health Care, Wausau.
He was born May 10, 1950 in Marshfield, son of the late Edward and Mildgitha (Koenig) Kipp.
Mike worked at the Northern Valley Workshop. Among his many interests, he enjoyed books, cleaning and was an avid sports fan, especially fond of golf, football and tennis. Family parties and get-togethers were a source of great joy for Michael. He also enjoyed his family, food and dancing. Michael was proud to be an American and was very patriotic.
Survivors include five sisters, Sister Mary Dora, Marshfield, Mary Ann Nelson, Wausau, Dorothy (Tom) Perry, Seattle, Lucy (Pat) Mullin, Chicago, and Lorraine (Tom) Netzer, Marshfield; and two brothers, Jack (Norma) Kipp, Wausau and Paul (Barbara) Kipp, Boca Raton, Fla., and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Walter Kipp and a sister, Alice Martel.
A memorial mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Peter Manickam will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.
