Mary F. Miller

Mary F. Miller 90, Wausau, died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau. She was born December 3, 1918 in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late John and Elenora (Lang) Weisenberger. On August 31, 1941, she married Elmer Miller at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1976. Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, sewing and crocheting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include, one son, Jim (Carla) Miller, Mesa, Ariz.; three daughters, Shirley (Al) Mackoway, Rothschild, Sue (Don) Schmidt, Kronenwetter and Judi (Joe) Kressel, Schofield; nine grandchildren, Corinne Miller, Laurie Hanson, Anne-Marie (Chris) Bartnik, Todd (Sheila) Mackoway, Cindy (Scott) Lohrey, Lisa (Paul) Haag, Mike (Cathy) Kressel, Joey Kressel and Randy (Mandy) Kressel; 27 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene (Jim) Wiesman, Wausau and Leona Syring, Illinois; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Miller, Wausau and Ida Weisenberger, Wausau. Besides her parents and husband, Elmer, she was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Marielle Kressel; and three brothers, Henry, Alfred and Leonard Weisenberger. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Church of St. Anne or Aspirus Hospice House.
