Margaret E. Salzman

Margaret "Marge" E. Salzman, 89, town of Wausau, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at her home. She was born April 16, 1924 in Wausau, daughter of the late Henry and Frances (Marvin) Kreil. On January 31, 1942, she married Harold Salzman in Wausau. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1993. Marge was a dairy farmer and homemaker in the town of Wausau most of her life. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed embroidery and cooking. Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Marvin) Lenzner, town of Wausau; four grandchildren, Eileen Lenzner, Weston, Jamie Lenzner, town of Wausau, Kylie Salzman, Minneapolis, Minn. and Luke Salzman, Fountain Hills, Ariz.; and one daughter-in-law, Linda Salzman, Schofield. Besides her parents and husband, Harold, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Salzman; and two brothers, Leo and James Kreil. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
