Loretta M. Buetsch

Loretta M. Buetsch 83, Wausau, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born November 17, 1926 in Halder, daughter of the late John and Pearl (Loar) Newman. Loretta was part owner of Buetsch Implement and also took care of the elderly and volunteered at North Central Health Care. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, knitting, watching Packer games and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching her great grandson bowl in the Special Olympics. Survivors include her children, Albert Buetsch, Marathon, Linda (Wally) McKee, Abbotsford, Mary (Mark) Loos, Mosinee, Catherine (Terry) Schulz, Rib Mountain, Diane Buetsch, Rib Mountain and Warren (Sandra) Buetsch, Wausau; grandchildren, Jason (Tammi) McKee, Tanya McKee, Tamara Loos, Erica Loos, Matt (Holly) Schulz and Robin Michaelson; great grandchildren, Daniel Malicki, Samantha Bakke, Taylor Haroldson, Brendan Loos and Calen Franson; brothers, Hugh (Geraldine) Newman and Joseph (Darleen) Newman, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by nine siblings, John, Sylvester, Leonard, Dolores an Kevin Newman, Maryann Buchberger, James Newman, Rosita Hall and William Newman. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Noon on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Halder.
