Lenore B. Schultz

Lenore B. Schultz 98, Weston, died Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Homme Home, Wittenberg. She was born November 9, 1909 in Dodgeville, Wis., daughter of the late Orville and Lillie (Comar) Frye. On June 10, 1933, she married L. Richard Schultz at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1994. They were blessed with one daughter , Lois J. Seefeldt who preceded her in death on July 23, 1998. Lenore graduated from high school in 1927, then attended business college. She was a secretary for a patent attorney and later for a public relations manager at a large department store in Milwaukee. For most of her married life, Lenore was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling with her husband until his health began to fail. In 1977, Lenore and Richard moved to Weston to be closer to her daughter and her family. In her younger years, she was a Girl Scout Leader and very active with the P.T.A. and her church. Among her many interests, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and needle point. She made many afghans for her family and friends. Survivors include, her son-in-law, Thomas Seefeldt, Weston; four grandchildren, Linda (Peter) Gallenberg, Antigo, Richard (Lisa) Seefeldt, Rothschild, Shirley Seefeldt, Weston and Patricia (Mark) Hunt, Rothschild; seven great grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; one step-great great grandchild; and by her very dear friends, Elverna and Norman Imig, Schofield. Besides her parents and husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Seefeldt; her granddaughters husband, Brian Wirth; one sister; and three brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. Rev. Lance Hoelscher will officiate. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 a.m. until services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
