Herman Groshek Obituary

Herman R. Groshek, 97, Ringle died Friday, November 8, 2019 at Asprius Wausau Hospital.

He was born November 18, 1921 in Wausau, son of the late Frank and Helen (Yach) Groshek. On September 11, 1948 he married Helen Kolinski at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. She preceded him in death on September 28, 2011.

For many years Herman worked at Connor Forest Products until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Gary Groshek, Ringle, Wayne (Ann Galecki) Groshek, Plainfield, Gerhardt (Judy) Groshek, Hatley, Geoff (Sandy) Groshek, Mosinee, Gail (Randy) Lilla, Mosinee, one sister Laura Fabel, Rothschild and 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen in 2011, son Glenn in 1992 and twelve siblings.

Private family services were held.
