Gertraud E. Tornow

Gertraud "Gert" Tornow 81, Wausau, died Friday, September 28, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born May 22, 1926 in Soldin, Germany, daughter of the late Reinhold and Helene (Prochnow) Lange. On December 17, 1949 she married Arnim Tornow in Mahlow, Germany. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1988. Survivors include one son, Rolf (Rose) Tornow, Schofield; two grandchildren, Jennifer Tornow, Thiensville and Terry Tornow, Appleton; one sister, Edith Scholz, Berlin, Germany and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Arnim. Per Gertraud's wishes, private family services will be held.
