Elsie M. Schulz 87, Meadow Haven, Mosinee, formerly of Marathon, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She was born August 30, 1921 in Rib Falls, daughter of the late Gustave and Alvina (Amelung) Laumer. On October 13, 1941 she married Rudolph Zwifelhofer in Wausau. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1981. On March 23, 1990 she married Elroy Schulz in Rib Falls. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1997. Elsie enjoyed embroidering, flower gardening and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her children, Joseph (Ann) Zwifelhofer and Joann (Terry) Hornung, both of Marathon; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren and special caregivers, Annette and Don of Meadow Haven in Mosinee. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. The Rev. Terry Reich will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the funeral home.
