Dawn M. King, 60, Wausau died Thursday, January 17, 2019 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at the Hospice House, Wausau
Dawn was born December 10, 1958 in Milwaukee to the late Philip Albert Andreshak and Lorraine Ann Muhs.
Pets were always Dawn’s passion and for many years she worked as a veterinary technician at several Wausau area veterinary clinics. She also operated the Marathon County Humane Society for several years.
Blessed with a talent for creativity, Dawn pursued a variety of ventures that allowed her to express this gift. She designed beautiful jewelry and used her unique ideas and wonderful way with people to assist numerous individuals in enhancing their businesses, making them more successful and appealing, not only to people but to animals as well. Dawn had the world’s best sense of humor and had a way of making people and animals feel better everywhere she went. A bright star will go dim without her.
Dawn will be missed by everyone whose life she touched, but especially by her husband of more than 30 years, Allan Skrzypchak, her sister of the heart, Deb Lewis, her dear and closest friend Char Hall and many friends and community neighbors.
Besides her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her sister Lisa Ann Genrich.
Private services will be held in memory of Dawn.
