Carol (Jahnke) Rawlings
81, Schofield, passed from this life Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Copperleaf  Assisted Living of Schofield, WI.  Carol was born July 22, 1937 in Wausau, WI daughter of the late Oscar and Esther Jahnke.

Carol was married to Lester Rawlings. She is survived by her three children Carla (Steve) Locher, Kirk (Carolyn) Rawlings and Connie Nienow, her grandchildren Travis,
Kate, Heather, Ashley and Thomas and her great grandchildren, Mikala, Micheal, Novia, Bodie, and one sister Virginia, all of Wausau. She was proceeded in death by her
parents, husband Lester, siblings Mildred, Mitzie, Florence, Reynale, MaryJane, Lenly,and Mynard.

Carol worked at Hoffman House, as well as, Wausau Insurance. She is also a former owner of Norbie’s and Lenard Street Pub.  Carol enjoyed knitting and reading, and spending time with her friends and especially her family, who she cherished dearly. Carol and Lester loved traveling in their motorhome down to McAllen, TX where they wintered for many years.

Per Carol’s wishes, she will be honored with a private family gathering to celebrate her life. Any memorials or condolences may be sent to her daughter, Connie Nienow, at
1310 W Thomas Street, Wausau, WI 54401.  Carol’s family would also like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to Copperleaf Staff, especially, Kelly, to the staff at Interim Health, her wonderful nurse Monica for her support, compassion and care for Carol and her family during this difficult time.
