Barbara A. (Brown) Bauer

Barbara A. Bauer, 83, Merrill died Friday, June 19, 2020 under the care of Ministry Hospice at the home of her daughters, Pam and Kristi.

She was born August 20, 1936 in Marshfield, daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Dix) Brown.  On September 10, 1955 she married George Bauer in Aurora, IL.  He preceded her in death on August 2, 2001.

Barbara enjoyed being able to stay home and raise her children and grandchildren.  She also worked at the Badger Basket Factory in Edgar for a few years.  Some of her favorite pastimes included watching the birds, taking rides up north with George and spending time with her family.  Most of all Barbara will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her love of laughing.

Survivors include her children, Pam Wanta, Merrill, Tim Bauer, Marinette, Kristi Stoltz, Merrill, Tom (Kim) Bauer, Kronenwetter, Laura (Terry) Reeves, Beaver Dam, Michael (Tracy) Bauer, Marion and 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, her sister, Sharon Gardner, Rochelle, IL and her brother, Robert (Linda) Brown, Brookfield, IL., her sister-in-law, Dianne Brown, IL., as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Greg and Rob, her sister, Nancy Marth, brother, James Brown and sister-in-law, Shirley Brown and brother-in-law Jack Gardner.

Private family funeral services will be held at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar.  Burial will be in the Edgar Cemetery.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
