Alois R. Ceplina, 68, 1402 S. Third Avenue, Wausau, died Friday, January 30, 2004 at his home.
He was born March 11, 1935 in Knowlton, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Wasniewski) Ceplina.
Alois was a dock worker for Gross Common Carriers trucking firm. He loved trout fishing and enjoyed being with his friends on the bingo buses.
Survivors include his children, Alois Ceplina Jr. of California, Lynn Ceplina and Mark Ceplina both of Milwaukee; three grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Ceplina, Rock Falls, Ill., Jacob (Norma) Ceplina, Allegan, Mich., Leo Ceplina, St. Louis, Mo.; five sisters, Loretta (Ray) Knoblock, Merrill, Veronica (Ed) Novitzke, Irma, Victoria Gwidt, Jefferson, Jackie (Bill) Zenner, Blaine, Minn and Joni (Tom) Falk, Vadnais Heights, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers John and Glenn Ceplina.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
