Zaylah Joyce-Marie Mcgeshick

Zaylah Joyce-Marie McGeshick, born September 12, 2024 eager to meet the world, at 26 weeks gained her angel wings just 16 days later on September 28, 2024.

Her precious, beautiful soul brought so much joy, love and excitement in her short, but tough journey.  She was a little warrior who will be loved a lifetime.  This is not goodbye, it’s until we meet again.  Although our hearts are breaking, we are rest assured that you are shining down on us everyday.

Zaylah is survived by her mom, Tiawnna Sowinski; her dad, David McGeshick; grandparents, Amber (Chad) Kloth and Michael (Cassi) Stanke; her great-grandparents, Keith (Deb) Stanke, Laurie Sowinski and Bruce Kapellen; aunts, Samantha Stanke, Tasha McGeshick, Mckynzee Stanke and Teagen Kloth; uncles, Dominic Robare and Ethan Cloud; and many cousins, great-aunts, great uncles and great-great grandparents.  There are many, many more she would have been loved by.

Zaylah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joyce Davis; great-grandfather, Byron Davis; great-grandmother, Gertrude McGeshick and great-great grandfather, Roger Sowinski.

The family would like to give a huge thank you to the NICU staff at Marshfield Children’s Hospital for all of their dedication, love and compassion during this difficult time.
