Yvonne C. Coushman

Yvonne C. Coushman 64, T643 County Road WW, Wausau, died Friday January 17, 2003 at her home, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born November 6, 1938 in Hortonville, daughter of the late Benjamin and Theresa (Stadler) Nieuwenhuis. On August 31, 1957 she married Charles Coushman at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. He survives. Yvonne was a school teacher. Survivors include her husband, Charles, three children, Steven (Sharon) Coushman, Tomahawk, Brenda (Todd) Wolfe, Milton, Christopher (Becky) Coushman, Wausau, four grandchildren, her siblings, Dorothy (Joseph) Bodmer, Appleton, LaVern Zyduck, Fond du Lac, Bernard (Helen) Nieuwenhuis, Hazelhurst, Germaine Gebhardt, Wausau, Sister Berna Nieuwenhuis S.S.S.F., Campbellsport, Robert (Dorothy) Nieuwenhuis, Wausau, Elaine (Delos) Knapp, Wausau, Tom (Bette) Nieuwenhuis, Wausau and Richard Nieuwenhuis, Wausau. Besides her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Nieuwenhuis. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday January 22, 2003 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau, and again on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
