Winifred Marcella Radandt

Winifred "Winnie" M. Radandt 92, Mosinee, formerly of Wausau, died Friday, April 6, 2007 at Cedar Ridge Elder Services, Mosinee, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born December 3, 1914 in Schofield, daughter of the late John and Martha (Gorski) Gorecki. On November 26, 1938, she married Elmer Radandt at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1994. Among her many interests, she enjoyed yard work, gardening, berry picking, baking and was an excellent cook. Winifred was a founding member of the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Survivors include, one daughter, Mary Kay (James) DeBroux, Mosinee; two grandchildren, Jon (Anne) DeBroux, Milwaukee and Bethany (Michael) Guthrie, Wauwatosa; one brother, Leonard Gorecki, Schofield; three sisters, Leona Zell, Rothschild, Jeanette Stazak and Grace Omernick, all of Weston; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Elmer, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Eleanor Gaurke, Genevieve Green and Angeline Sickler; and one brother, Frank Gorecki. The funeral mass will be celebrated 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
