William "Bill" J. Danens

William J. “Bill” Danens, 76, Mosinee passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born January 9, 1948 in Portland, Oregon son of the late William and Joyce (Wilkenson) Danens Sr. On August 26, 1967 he married Marcia Bransdal in Portland.  She survives.

For many years Bill worked in the manufacturing industry as a computer engineer.  Some of his favorite pastimes included attending Men’s Bible Study at Highland Community Church, reading and following the advancements in technology.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marcia Danens, Katherine (Mike) Dunkelburger, William T. (Traci) Danens, Christopher (Brittany) Danens and Sarah Jean Sachse, 10 grandchildren and two sisters, Jerilanne Danens and Robbianne Walerius.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen and a sister, Susan Richardson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Highland Community Church, Wausau.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services all at the church.  Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
