William "Bill" Schweizer
62, 3802 E. Butternut Road, Wausau, died Friday May 9, 2003 at his home.
He was born December 12, 1940 in Joliet, Illinois, son of the late Louis and Agnes (Rapp) Schweizer.
Bill farmed all his life in the town of Wausau. He was a heavy equipment operator and currently was employed at Buetsch Implement, Marathon, as a mechanic and truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending antique tractor shows.
Survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Ann (John) Streeter, Wausau, three brothers, James (Diana) Schweizer, Phelps, Thomas (Karen) Schweizer, Oconomowoc and Robert Schweizer, Wausau and nieces & nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 13, 2003 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a vigil service at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Sixth Street funeral home.
