William "Willie" A. Schult
55, Marathon, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 due to an automobile accident.
He was born November 11, 1954 in Wausau, son of the late William C. and Marie (Lodholz) Schult. On October 1, 1983 he married Bonnie Heinsohn in Merrill. She survives.
Willie was a dairy farmer who also did logging on his land. Some of his hobbies included playing church league softball and dart ball. Willie enjoyed polka dancing and loved fruit cake. He was past president of the Marathon County Farm Bureau, on the zoning committee for the town of Stettin and on the finance committee for Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie, Marathon; one son, Timothy (Teri) Schult, Wausau; one daughter, Catherine "Cathie" Schult, Ripon; one uncle, Arden (Aladine) Lodholz, Wausau; one aunt, Lydia (Harold) Gierach, Merrill, and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Marian.
Funeral services will be Noon Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2214 State Hwy 107, Marathon. The Rev. Terry Reich will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. There will be a 7:30 prayer service Friday evening at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials given to the family would be appreciated.
