William K. Schilling

William "Willy" K. Schilling, 72, Schofield died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at his home. He was born January 18, 1941 in Wausau, son of the late Kaspar and Anna (Hohl) Schilling. For many years Willy was a security guard at the Mosinee Paper Mill. He enjoyed fishing, had a great interest in music and loved to sing karaoke. Survivors include his siblings, Angie (Bob) Kucirek, Wausau, Annie (Ed) Hajec, Brookfield and John Schilling, Rib Mountain and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Casper and Tony Schilling and one sister, Victoria Bednarski. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Willy's name.
