William Faber

William "Bill" Faber 78, town of Easton, died peacefully Sunday, October 25, 2009 at his home. He was born February 28, 1931 in the Netherlands, son of the late Jelle and Hilda (Siedsma) Faber. In 1955 he married Irene Zylstra in Holland. She survives. William immigrated to the United States and found his home in Central Wisconsin. He spent his working life as a truck driver known to many as "Dutchie" and as a skilled carpenter. His family is very proud of his "Faber built" reputation and his work ethic. Survivors include his wife, Irene, town of Easton; children, Jack (Connie) Faber, town of Easton, Patty (Joe) Barrick, Hatley, Hilda (Dan) Ericksen, Merrill and Wilt (Diane) Faber, town of Easton; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau.
