William J. "Bill" Brill, 45, of Wausau, died Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at his home.
Bill was born on October 29, 1956 in Wausau, son of Mary Ann (Gorski) Brill, Wausau and the late Alexander Brill.
Bill was a former altar server at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau and a member of the Wausau Area Special Olympics. He also was a former member of Explorer Scout Troop #406 and the Area Religious Education for Handicapped (A.R.E.H.). He worked at the Adult Day Program at the North Central Health Facility until his death.
Bill had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor, loved his many friends and family and he was loved in return. He saw the good in people he knew. He cared for and gave support to his mother since his father's death in 1998.
Besides his mother Mary, he is survived by three sisters, Kathleen (Kenny) Yoo, Kenosha, and their children, Roland (Linda) Iwen, Ron (Julie) Iwen, Reese Iwen, Buddy Yoo and Jeanie Yoo; Diane (James) Van Eyck, Wausau, and their children, Victoria, Jamie and Mary; Beatrice Griff, Wausau and her children, Becky, and Amy Griff and Antonio and Michael Thompson; two brothers, Jim (Diane) Brill, Wausau and their children, Matthew (Colette) Brill and Jeffrey Brill and Gregory (Shiela Fenn) Brill, Kenosha. Seven grand nieces and grand nephews, David, James, Adam, Anthony and Michelle Iwen and Allison and Nathan Brill; two aunts, March Spakowski, Panellas Park, Florida and Mildred Brill, Marathon; one uncle Edward Gorski, Merrill.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2002 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Marathon. Friends may call on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, and again on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
