William T. Borth

William "Bill" T. Borth 66, Wausau, died Friday, October 8, 2010 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. He was born July 20, 1944 in Wausau, son of the late Eugene and Shirley (Swope) Borth. On September 6, 1990, he married Dawn French in Wausau. She survives. Bill worked as a Senior Buyer for Marathon Electric, Wausau for 46 years until his retirement. Among his favorite interests, he enjoyed bowling, was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, golfing and was a member of the Marathon Electric golf league. Survivors include, his wife, Dawn Borth, Wausau; three children, John (Angela) Borth, Wausau, Jeff Borth, Rothschild and Julie (Jason) Hoss, Milwaukee; one grandson, Braxtin Borth; one brother, Walter Borth, Wausau; one brother-in-law, William (Clara) French, Woodbridge, Va.; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Borth; and one brother, Gene Borth. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
