William "Bill" R. Edwards

William “Bill” R. Edwards, 77, of Wausau, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Wausau Manor under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He was born on September 10, 1947, in Wausau to the late Earl and Eylene (Coe) Edwards. Bill married Sandi Daum on August 24, 1985, at the American Legion Golf Course. He managed the American Legion Golf Course for 30 years. After he retired, Bill had a business selling golf clubs, balls, other sports supplies and promotional items, and logos. He was a member of the Wausau Curling Club and made many friends over his years of curling. Bill also enjoyed football pools at the Legion and Lucky’s, fishing, and golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Sandi; sister-in-law, Pam Edwards; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Eylene Edwards; brother, Bob Edwards; sisters, Jane Quandt and Jean Wilson; and niece, Laurie Halstead.
