William Bernam Jr

William Bernam Jr. 78, 3709 N. Sixth St., Wausau, died Sunday August 18, 2002 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. He was born July 26, 1924 in Athens, son of the late Celia and William Bernam Sr. He married Mildred Felzkowski. She preceded him in death September 24, 1997. Prior to his retirement, William had been employed with Kraft Cheese, Milan and farmed in the town of Johnson. Survivors include a son, Randy Bernam, Athens, his mother-in-law, Helen Felzkowski, Athens. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Florian and Edward. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 22, 2002 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call on Weds. from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Weds. evening at the Athens funeral home. Pallbearers for the service will be Chris Rabehl. Kevin Passehl, Darryl, Duane, Dean and David Felzkowski.
