Warren J. Nutter
89, formerly of Rothschild, died Saturday, December 11, 2004 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
He was born April 2, 1915 in Wausau, son of the late Warren and Florence (Peterson) Nutter. On April 4, 1950, he married Gertrude Wilde in Arizona. She preceded him in death on March 15, 2000.
Warren was a veteran of the US Navy serving in World War II. He then was employed at Wanta Asphalt Company, Schofield until the time of his retirement. Warren enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly (Frank) Bloom, Wausau; four sons, Brian (Julie) Nutter, Colby, Greg (Diane) Nutter, Wausau, Scott (Yvonne) Nutter, Athens and Jack Nutter, Iowa; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, John Nutter, Wausau, Edward (Shirley) Nutter, Sussex and Ken (Esther) Nutter, Fountain Hills, Arizona.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Frank Bloom, Jr.; one great granddaughter, Rebecca Nutter; three brothers, Earl, Bert and Charles Nutter.
The funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the Sixth street funeral home.
