Warren G. Mueller
76, 4710 Kennedy Ave., Schofield, died Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
He was born May 1, 1925 in the town of Easton, son of the late Theodore Mueller and the late Clara (Stark) Mueller-Fraedrich. On June 8, 1946 he married Anita Rick at St. John Lutheran Church, town of Easton. She survives.
Warren was born and raised in the town of Easton and was a dairy farmer there for 50 years. He was also employed as a truck driver for the former Wausau Energy and in his retirement he drove school bus for Laidlaw Transit. At St. John Lutheran Church, he served as an Elder and financial secretary among other church involvements. For many years, Warren served the town of Easton as Town Supervisor and Clerk. Throughout his life he enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers and also enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors besides his wife Anita, include his children, Lois Mueller, Madison, Karen (James) Crone, Churchville, Maryland and Nancy (Kevin) Thorson, Wausau, three grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Crone, Churchville, Maryland and Nicholas Thorson, Wausau, one sister, Susan (Howard) Breutzmann, Rothschild and one step-brother, Karl (Grace) Fraedrich, Venice, Fla.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 17, 2001 at St. John Lutheran Church, town of Easton. Rev. Mark Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Friday, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Friday at the Sixth Street funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church, town of Easton.
