Wanda C. Kryshak

Wanda C. Kryshak 102, Wausau, died Monday, August 2, 2010 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Woodland Court, Merrill. She was born April 10, 1908 in Wausau, daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Machyniak) Kuharski. On September 21, 1927, she married Thaddeus Kryshak at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1963. Wanda was employed at the former Marathon Battery for many years. She was a lifetime member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau, a member of the Catholic Women's Club, the PCCW, the National Catholic Society of Foresters, St. Cecelia Court, and the Rosary Confraternity. Among her many interests, she enjoyed cooking and baking at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Survivors include, three sons Ted (Nancy) Kryshak, New Berlin, Don (Sue) Kryshak, Wisconsin Rapids and Tom (Nancy) Kryshak, Wausau; one daughter-in-law, Angie Kryshak, Tomahawk; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, James Kryshak; one brother; and five sisters. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon Thursday, August 5, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch, Rev. Joseph Rafacz and Rev. Jerome Hoeser will preside. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to St. Michael Catholic Church or Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
