Walter L. Pospyhalla

Walter L. Pospyhalla 70, 4800 Alpine Road., Edgar, died Sunday, October 24, 2004 at his home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. He was born August 22, 1934 in the town of Cassel, son of the late Louis and Hedwig (Tylinski) Pospyhalla. On March 2, 1954 Walter was united in marriage to Shirley Sonnentag at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. She survives. Prior to his retirement Walter was a lifelong dairy farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time in the outdoors with friends but most of all cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Walter served his country in the U. S. Army. Survivors besides his wife Shirley, Edgar include his children, Debra (Randall) Ellenbecker, Bedford, Texas, Kaye (Steve) Connor, Athens, Shelley Pospyhalla, Phoenix, Arizona, June (Bruce) Borchardt, Tomahawk, Michael (Roxanne) Pospyhalla, Edgar, Sonia (Jim) Heidmann, Edgar, fifteen grandchildren, one brother, Lyle (Marjorie) Pospyhalla, Stratford, three sisters, Angeline (Edwin) Kurtzweil, Edgar, Mary Lou Wisnewski, East Troy and Grace (Richard) Wirkus, Edgar.
