Walter Hemmrich

Walter Hemmrich 83, Wausau, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born October 7, 1924 in the town of Emmet, son of the late Henry and Henrietta (Gresens) Hemmrich. Walter farmed in the town of Emmett for many years and also worked for Menzner Lumber and Supply Company in Marathon for 16 years. Survivors include, one brother, Clarence Hemmrich, Wausau; two sisters, Lydia (Elmer) Ahrens, Wausau and Clara Cichon, Marathon; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Delores Loeffel. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Marathon. Rev. Jon W. Hadler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, Marathon. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
