Walter "Bud" Boneck
78, Wausau, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at his home.
He was born March 15, 1925, in Racine, son of the late Walter A. and Irene (Linder) Boneck. On February 27, 1943, he marred Emily Kundo in Wausau. She survives.
Bud was US Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was a self employed bricklayer and home builder and then retired from the M. Lucas Company, Appleton. Bud was an avid card player, enjoyed going up north to fish, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Boneck, Wausau; his children, Larry (Judy Meyer) Boneck, Mosinee, Linda (Kip) Werner, Tomahawk and Adria (Robert) Schultz, Wausau; nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara (Russell) Boehm, Chetek; one brother, Rev. Norman Boneck.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant son, Dennis Boneck; two sisters, Ramona Sward and Wanda Kuschel; one son-in-law, James Edward Coppock, Jr.
The memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Norman Boneck and Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church.
