Virginia A. Hoff

Virginia A. Hoff 98, Wausau, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at her home. She was born March 3, 1914 in Athens, daughter of the late August and Margaret (Jess) Boehm. On June 30, 1938 she married Matthew Hoff in Athens. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1989. Virginia enjoyed gardening, knitting and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her children, Dawn Harrod, Dale Hoff and Bonnie Guillaume, all of Wausau; grandchildren, John (Becky) Harrod, Joan Harrod, Michelle Cody and Michael (Danielle) Hoff; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Lydia Harrod, Caroline and Dalton Cody and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Matthew, she was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Harl Harrod and Joseph Guillaume. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
