Virginia P. Dahm

Virginia P. Dahm Virginia P. (Horky) Dahm, 89, Allison House, Rothschild, WI, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, under the care of Aspirus Hospice House. She was born October 31, 1921, in Clintonville, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Edmund and Hilda (Jelinek) Horky. On February 11, 1946, she was united in marriage to George Dahm in Clintonville, Wisconsin. He survives. Virginia worked in food service at St. Anne's Catholic School prior to her retirement. She also was a long-time volunteer at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Virginia and her husband, George, enjoyed spending time with their family, and tending their beautiful flower gardens. Virginia was an avid sports fan. Virginia always put everyone else ahead of herself and was a living example of her faith. Survivors include her husband, George; three sons, Michael (Carol) Dahm, Weston, Mark (Jeanette) Dahm, Tualatin, Oregon, and Dan (Pam) Dahm, Tualatin, Oregon; four daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Hall, Wausau, Mary (Andy) Hoppe, Wausau, Kathy (David) Hall, Schofield, and Jean (Michael) Walters, Wausau; nineteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Visitation will be at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau, on Friday from 10:00 until the time of services. Funeral services will be at 11:00 Friday, July 8, 2011, at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. Peterson /Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
