Violet Seipp

January 30, 1920 — April 7, 2005

Violet Seipp 85, Wausau, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born January 30, 1920 in Riplinger, daughter of the late Louis and Martha (Stecker) Goetz. On January 16, 1943 Violet married Wilmer J. Seipp in Wausau. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1998. Violet was a homemaker. She was very active as a leader with many local 4H Clubs. Always known to be artistic and crafty, Violet showed her talents by creating beautiful crocheted table cloths. She was also an active member of Peace United Church of Christ and their Ladies Guild. Survivors include her son Ron (Deborah) Seipp, Oshkosh, two grandchildren, Stacey (Chris) Ebbin, Fond du Lac and Jessie (Justin) Cox, Oshkosh, three great grandchildren, Mirranda, Zachary and Haillie Ebbin. Besides her parents and husband Violet was preceded in death by four brothers, Louis Jr., Marvin and Darold Goetz and Verland Gaetz. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2005 at Peace United Church of Christ, Schofield. The Rev. Jeff Wartgow will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
