Violet A. Pitek

Violet A. Pitek 67, Schofield, died Thursday, September 15, 2005 at the home of Mitsy & John, her daughter & son-in-law. She was born August 10, 1938 in Wausau, daughter of the late Bernard and Rose (Kardack) Olbrantz. On October 11, 1957, she married Ken Pitek at St. Michael Catholic Church. He preceded her in death September 13, 1998. Violet and her husband, owned and operated the Mosinee Dry Cleaners until 1991. She then was a housekeeper at Kennedy Park Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Weston. Violet was witty and had a great sense of humor and will be always be remembered as the life of the party. Survivors include her children, Michelle "Mitsy" (John) Lambrecht, Schofield, Robert (Terri) Pitek, Wausau, Shawn Pitek, Wausau, Annie (Michael) Maas, Mosinee; six grandchildren, Joshua, Katie, Emily, Mitchell, Andrew & Aaron; two sisters, Mary (Don) Schultz, Wausau and Sr. Mary Eunice Olbrantz, Chicago; six brothers, Clem (Lorraine) Olbrantz, Wausau, Leo (Marion) Olbrantz, Wausau, Lenny (Ruthie) Olbrantz, Marathon, Al (Diane) Olbrantz, Plover, John (Sally) Olbrantz, Plover and Barney (Marie) Olbrantz, Wausau; one sister-in-law, Margaret Olbrantz, Novato, Calif.; numerous nieces & nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2005 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. Monday until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements. Our Grandma was the best Grandma you could ever have. She loved playing bingo, playing cards with family and loved to go to the casino. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Everybody loved her very much!! She will be deeply missed by all family and friends. We love you Grandma!!!
