Viola L. Frank

Viola L. Frank 97, Athens, died Saturday, August 6, 2005 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill. She was born April 20, 1908 in the town of Rib Falls, daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Henke) Fischbach. On December 14, 1935, she married Almon Frank at Christ United Church, Athens. He preceded her in death April 19, 1992. Viola was a homemaker. Besides making quilts and cakes, sewing and crocheting, she raised chickens to sell eggs. Viola always had a welcome to anyone who came by to visit. Survivors include many nieces & nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Hattie Henneman, Goldie Dugas, Josephine Achterberg, Erna Hoff and Clara Zastrow. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. Rev. Donn Radde will officiate. Burial will be in the Athens Lutheran Cemetery.
