Vinoo Cameron

Vinoo Cameron, M.D. passed peacefully on March 4, 2025, after living a life on his own terms.

Driven by his faith in God and in this country, Dr. Cameron served the community for over 45 years as a physician in Athens and Medford, Wisconsin- a long distance from the Daryaganj neighborhood in New Delhi, India, where he was raised by his beloved mother Sophie James Cameron, and his father Ebenezer Cameron.

Throughout his life he maintained a curious mind, and a furious spirit, but was always humbled as he bent his knees in prayer.

He is survived by his wife- Janice, his children -Bruce, Nicole, and Indira, two grandchildren, and a brother, Reggie.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Gladys.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens.  Rev. George Graham will officiate.  Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service all at the Athens funeral home.
