Victoria Anna Lenzner
91, Wausau, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
She was born September 22, 1919 in Antigo, daughter of the late Frank and Francis (Kramer) Krall. On May 18, 1946 she married Roy Lenzner at St. Mary Catholic Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2004.
Victoria was a homemaker, charter member of the Church of St. Anne, Wausau and also a member of the St. Bridget's Circle and the Fatima Council. Some of her hobbies included cooking, tending to her flowers, decorating for all the seasons and holidays and playing cards. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time up North, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and dog, Ginger.
Survivors include her children, CarolJean (James) Krummel, Minocqua, Roger (Karen) Lenzner, Merrill, Dale (Lauren) Lenzner and Donnie Lenzner (fiancAC. Marilyn Moser) both of Wausau, Gloria (Jim M.) Ruether, Schofield and Sharon (David R.) Larsen, Wausau; eleven grandchildren, Rebecca (Nick) Kuckkan, Debra (Shane) Heilmann, Theresa Lenzner, Alan Lenzner, Jaime (Bryan) Kelly, Staci (Paul) Kamke, Tiffani Lenzner (fiancAC. Chris Plautz), Jennifer and Kevin Ruether, Christopher (Melani) Larsen and Vicky Jane Larsen; three great-grandchildren, Alexia Lenzner, Emily and Matthew Heilmann; two step great-grandchildren, Mason and Toryn Kelly; one sister, Dorothy Chalupnicek; two brothers, Martin Krall and Kenneth (Joan) Krall; one sister-in-law, Marge Krall; two brothers-in-law, James Graham and Dave Melius, and many other relatives and friends.
Besides her husband, Roy and her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Agnes Rindfleisch, Marion Graham and Connie Melius and two brothers, Frank Krall and George Krall.
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, October 18, 2010 from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. followed by the entombment in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Pine Crest Nursing Home, Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services and Rev. Michael McLain for all of the compassion and care given to Victoria and her family.
