Victor B. Bradfish

Victor B. Bradfish, 87, Wausau, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Stone Crest, Wausau. He was born May 28, 1927 in town of Rietbrock, son of the late Fredrick and Mary (Reuter) Bradfish. On August 19, 1950 he married Phyllis Brown at St. Mary Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on February 20, 1992. Victor owned and operated Vic's Northside Standard. He enjoyed trout fishing, polka music and dancing. He loved his cat, Jake and above all he cherished time spent with his family. Survivors include his special friend, Della Schmitz; Wausau; children, Victoria (Andy) Berghammer, Wausau, Deborah (Niel) Zienert, Texas, Peggy (Dave) Zastrow, Weston, Carol (Don) Slaminski, Wausau, Cathy (Richard) Toldness, Merrill, Robert (Jodi) Bradfish, Texas, Richard Bradfish, Minnesota, Laurie Hoff, Wausau, Diane (Kevin) O'Connell, and Fred (Linda) Bradfish, Schofield; 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, siblings, Florian (Lana) Bradfish, Rothschild, Lucille VanderGeest, Wausau, Betty (Bill) Stoltz, Schofield, Jane (Keith) Cannon, Rothschild and Norman Bradfish, Weston; sister-in-law, Barb Bradfish, Mosinee. Besides his parents and wife, Phyllis, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Bradfish, and son-in-law, Russell Hoff. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau, and again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
