Victor H. Borski

Victor H. Borski 95, Wausau, died Friday, October 13, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born December 23, 1910 in Wausau, son of the late John and Dora (Schacta) Borski. On August 27, 1932, he married Clara Kwiatkowski in Wausau. She preceded him in death on October 14, 1985. Victor was a local truck driver for Glendenning Trucking Company, retiring in 1976. Among his many interests, he enjoyed spending time at his cottage on Lake Pesobic. He prided himself on living independently in his own home. Survivors include, one son, James (Sally) Borski, Rothschild; two daughters, Rose Towle and Kathleen Borski-Gabrielski, all of Wausau; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Al) Ashbeck, Rothschild, Captain Andrew (Jessica) Gabrielski, Abilene, Tex., Julie (Chris Buonamia) Gabrielski, Brooklyn, NY and Gayle Gabrielski, Minneapolis, Minn.; three great grandchildren, Ashley and Tanner Ashbeck and Grant Victor Gabrielski; one brother, Ambrose Borski, Wausau; two sisters, Dorothy Pergolski and Bernice Kordus, all of Wausau; one sister-in-law, Caroline Kwiatkowski, Wausau; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Clara, he was preceded in death by; one son-in-law, Larry Towle; two sisters, Alice and Marion; and four brothers, August, Tony, Chester and Roy. The funeral mass will be celebrated Noon Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
