Victor "Vic" T. Augustine

Victor "Vic" T. Augustine 79, Rib Mountain, died Friday May 12, 2006 at his home. He was born June 19, 1926 in Wausau, son of the late Albert and Maryianna (Mrozek) Augustine. On June 9, 1951, he married Eleanor Boruch in Wausau. She survives. For most of his working career, Victor had been employed in Car sales, retiring from Rosemurgy Motors after 25 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, remodeling and vegetable gardening. He was a veteran of the US Army serving his country from 1948 until 1954. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Augustine, Rib Mountain, seven children, Charles (Jan) Augustine, Wausau, David Augustine, Las Vegas, Donald (Beverly) Augustine, Marshfield, Lorraine (Frank) Lepisko, Wausau, Susan (David) Mohelnitzky, Wausau, Kenneth (Lori) Augustine, England, Karen (Jeffery) Davis, Lodi, 15 grandchildren, Chad, Dan, Karen, David Jr., Angela, Dana, Sarah, Ryan, Lindsey, Erica, Michelle, Matt, Austin, Michael, Elle, eight great grandchildren, one sister, Helen Hintz, Wausau, two brothers, Roman (Mary Ann) Augustine, Schofield, Walter (Barbara) Augustine, Tomahawk. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 16, 2006 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Norman Boneck and Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call on Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
