Veronica ''Verna'' Schymanski

Veronica "Verna" Schymanski, 88, 728 Lincoln Avenue, Wausau, died Monday, July 22, 2002 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. Verna was born November 7, 1913 in Polonia, daughter of the late Jacob and Nathalie (Miskowski) Burclaff. She married Michael P. Schymanski on May 26, 1931 in Wausau. He preceded her in death January 25, 1987. Verna was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Rosary Society, PCCW, Ladies Foresters and the Ladies Card Club. She is survived by two daughters, Betty (Donald) Heitmann, Eden, S.D., Sandra (Myron) Rader, Wausau; three sons, Charles (Evelyn) Schymanski, Wausau, Michael (Jean) Schymanski, Stone Lake, Thomas (Katherine) Schymanski, Omaha, NE; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Walraven, Theinsville. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2002 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, and again from 10:30 a.m., Friday until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish, Rosary Society and Foresters rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Sixth Street funeral home.
