Vernellen J. Nehls 65, Wausau, died Thursday March 5, 2009 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. Survivors include three granddaughters, Nicole, Jamie and Amanda, one great grandson, Naythan, two sisters, Evangeline Baumann, Wausau, Eleanore Schlei, Loveland, Colo., one brother, Dennis Seehafer, Schofield, nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Mechanics Ridge Cemetery, Wausau.
