Vergene Mae Wunsch

Vergene Mae Wunsch, 74, Wausau, died Sunday, June 20, 2004 surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born May 20, 1930 in Wausau daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Runke) Huehnerfuss. Vergene retired from Employers Insurance, Wausau as a supervisor in the medical records department. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed spending time with her loving family and especially her grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Sheryl (Dave) Rosacker, Hudson Oaks, Tex., two sons, Todd (Lori) Wunsch, Jay Wunsch, all of Wausau; eight grandchildren, Amy (Vic) Anderson, Andy (Kristen) Rosacker, Scott (Alejandra) Rosacker, David Wunsch, Angela Wunsch, Chandra (Adam Mulzahn - fiance') Wunsch, Catherine (Nathan) Striech, Jason Wunsch; four great grandchildren, Emma Anderson, Christian Rosacker, Briana Striech, Makayla Malzahn; two sisters Geraldine McKeithen, Lavine Larson; other relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Gary Wunsch and a brother Vernon Huehnerfuss. Funeral services will be 12: 00 noon, Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. John W. Meachen will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
