Valeria B. Golomski

Valeria B. Golomski, 82, 1436 East Cherry Street, Wausau, died Sunday, April 21, 2002 at North Central Health Care Facility, Wausau. Valeria was born August 21, 1919 in Wausau, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Woitkovitz) Lenard. She married Chester Golomski. Valeria was a homemaker. She spent time as a crossing guard for several years at Thomas Jefferson School in Wausau. She also worked for Mrs. Karl's Bakery. Survivors besides her husband, Chester, include one daughter, Mary (Bob) Steif, Wausau; two sons, Richard Golomski, Harrison, Mark (Gail) Golomski, Rhinelander, 8 grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Holzem, Wausau, Angie Meyers, Wausau; one brother, Eugene (Ursula) Lenard, Rochester, MN. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 5:30- 8 p.m., Tuesday, and again from 10 a.m., Wednesday, all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. There will be a parish vigil service at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday at the church.
