Todd W. Giles
32, Dancy, formerly of Wausau, died Weds. May 30, 2007 as the result of a pedestrian/train accident.
He was born December 4, 1974 in Wausau, son of David and Christine (Stieber) Giles, Weston. A 1993 graduate of Newman High School, Todd went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. One experience he was particularly proud of was the semester he spent in Australia. For five years he had been employed at Aqua Finance, Wausau and for the past several years he partnered with his father at Dave Giles Financial Services.
During his college years, Todd was involved as a regular volunteer with the Special Olympics in Stevens Point. He had a great love for his dog, Kennedy and possessed a genuine love of nature and a keen appreciation for the plant and animal kingdom. An enthusiast of many sports, Todd's favorite was the NCAA Basketball Tounament. His all time favorite hobby and passion was Musky fishing with his brother, Jason.
Survivors include his parents, David and Christine Giles, Weston, his brother, Jason Giles, a nephew, Bryce, a niece, Riley, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude & Norma Giles and Edwin & Mary Stieber.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Saturday June 2, 2007 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Rev. Joseph Rafacz and Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Todd's name is being established.

Todd was a wonderful, giving person and will be remembered for his tremendous ability to know when he was needed by others.
