Todd A. Falkowski

Todd A. Falkowski 39, 932 S. 9th Ave., Wausau, died Tuesday October 21, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield. He was born June 5, 1964 in Rockford, Ill., son of Rita R. (Teeters) Falkowski, Mosinee and the late Gilbert J. Falkowski. On March 4, 2000, he married Cheryl (Newton) Mancheski at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. She survives. For his entire career, Todd worked side by side with his father as a taxidermist at Fur, Fin and Feather Taxidermy, Rib Mountain. After Gil's passing, Todd continued the family business. Later, Todd and Cheryl built a new shop at it's present location in Kronenwetter. Outdoor, athletic activities were among Todd's favorite things to do, especially, hunting big game, golfing, softball, volleyball and biking. Special to him was the time spent with his nephews, Hunter and Bryce. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Falkowski, Wausau, his mother, Rita Falkowski, Mosinee, a step-daughter, Molly Mancheski, Wausau, a step-grandson, Corrick Maltbey, two brothers, Timothy (Lana) Falkowski, Wausau, Troy (Jenny) Falkowski, Mukilteo, Wash., two nephews, Hunter and Bryce, godparents, Donald and Ardith Lund, Rockford, Ill., aunts, uncles and cousins. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. Friday October 24, 2003 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangments.
