Timothy R. Sullivan, 65, Lake Tomahawk, formerly of Anna Maria, Florida, died Friday, August 21, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born February 26, 1950 in Ironwood, Mich. On July 7, 2007, he married Paula (Cromer) Bryant in Anna Maria, Fla. She survives.
Throughout his life, Tim owned and operated numerous construction companies and various restaurants and bars, most recently, Tugboats Tavern in Lake Tomahawk. His favorite job was working for the Merchant Marines as Master Captain, where he earned the nickname "Tugboat". Tim had a great love for the outdoors, the Northwoods, Florida and being on the water from the shores of the Great Lakes all the way to the Caribbean Islands. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed boating, being on his tractor and traveling the Western United States. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, friends and his dog, "Missy".
For many years, Tim was an active member of the Operators Engineers Union.
Survivors include, his wife, Paula Sullivan, Lake Tomahawk, Wis.; five children, Christopher (Nikita) Sullivan, New Castle, Va., Jamie Sullivan, Phoenix, Ariz., Benjamin Bryant, Anna Maria, Fla., Bradley Bryant, Seattle, Wash. and David Bryant, Bradenton Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Rachael and Nathaniel Sullivan; one sister, Jill Ross, Franklin, Wis.; special uncle and aunt, Roger and Patti Page, Hurley, Wis.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Ann (Page) Sullivan; and one brother, Dale Sullivan.
Private services will be held at a later date.
